Bryce Lord
Director / Owner
Down to earth, hardworking, and honest, Bryce is renowned for his problem-solving abilities and has a reputation for never shying away from a challenge before an adequate solution can be found. A second-generation driller, Bryce grew up in a drilling family, following in the footsteps of his father, Phil Lord, who spent more than 50 years in the industry. With a trade background, and remote drilling operations management experience, Bryce later went on to gain further invaluable experience and skills working for some of Australia’s largest mining and exploration companies. Bryce is driven to achieve the best outcomes for each and every client and takes great pride in growing Ophir Drilling’s business and outstanding reputation far and wide.
Phil Lord
Phil Lord brings an extensive and regarded 50 years of industry experience to Ophir Drilling, further guaranteeing a high level of quality and service across all drilling projects. With a rich history in the industry, including the co-founding of Lord Bros Drilling (1980-1998) and the establishment of Pinnacle Drilling in 2002 (2002-2015), Phil’s dedication to drilling has been made abundantly clear. Phil’s quality of workmanship and his extensive experience and understanding of the drilling industry have also commendably guided the implementation of innovative change where the safety and welfare of his employees are concerned.
Sascha Rohr
With wide-ranging experience in exploration, mine service projects and safety, Sascha brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to our team. Having commenced his career in the Western Australian goldfields in 2004 and undertaking a variety of roles from driller, supervisor and HSET Manager for various drilling companies, Sascha’s knowledge of the hard rock and coal sectors, is highly regarded. In his role at Ophir Drilling, Sascha focuses on compliance, systems and delivering value for our clients through the building of open and honest relationships.
